All photos and videos taken by users are stored locally on the phone, and we will not upload or analyze users' photos and videos.

2. We will not analyze and collect your facial data

Privacy is very important to our users and we do not analyze and collect facial data in photos and videos.

3. “FormatX” does not have a user account registration system

Because "FormatX" does not have a user account registration system, we do not store any user's personal information.

Use of application permissions

The following information shows you the system permissions that the product may apply for and use when using the app, and why these permissions are needed. During the app version upgrade process, these permissions may change, and we will update the permission description on this page in a timely manner.

Photo album, camera, microphone, and location permissions will not be turned on by default. They will only be turned on for specific functions after your authorization. You can change or withdraw these authorizations.

1.Album permission

Import or save photos or videos you take. Edit an existing photo or video in your photo library. If you deny permission to open the album, FormatX will not be able to import photos and videos in your album that require privacy. All photos or videos taken will also not be saved to the system album. You also can't edit existing photos or videos in your photo library.

2.Camera permission

Take photos or videos to protect some privacy. If you deny permission to open the camera, you will not be able to take photos or videos.

3.Microphone permission

Shooting video requires a microphone for recording. If you deny open microphone permission, the video you shoot will have no sound.
